” I found Jen whilst searching the internet for weddings at my chosen venue. When I saw her photos I knew I had to contact this amazing photographer and hope she was free for our wedding day! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for snapping our big day so naturally and perfectly. It was incredible how well you both fitted in with the whole day, as if you were actual guests at our wedding (which would have been awesome btw).
You were able to capture everyone’s genuine emotions of joy, laughter and utter happiness throughout the day and as such we will be able to treasure every moment over and over again, every time we look at your beautiful photographs. This is so precious and something only a true legend of the lens, as you clearly are, could truly accomplish.

Jen Marino Photography – a wonderful relaxed, informal, vintage, reportage style photographer based in Oxfordshire. I cannot find the words to describe how lucky we were to find Jen to be our wedding photographer. She was everything we were looking for and more. Her relaxed style suited us; no “posing” for endless formal photos, no cheesey staged shots, no forced smiles. She took great photos, charged a reasonable price, took into account all of our requests and advised us where we had no idea what to do. She is lovely, easy to get on with, unobtrusive on the day, efficient and professional in a relaxed way. If she is free on your day, book her. Get in now before she becomes famous and charges more than most can afford – she deserves it for her incredible skill and amazing work ethic but is surprisingly affordable. Her engagement/trial photo shoot takes all the worry from the day because you already know how wonderfully your photos are going to turn out – we didn’t worry once after that point, one big pressure off the day!
We cannot thank Jen enough for what she did for us. She didn’t just provide us with wonderful photos to remember our special day forever, but she took away all of the worry and stress of having photos done on the day, and afterwards we were so excited to see them and didn’t worry once about what they would be like. What more could you ask for!?!
We first met Jen back in October 2010, a couple of months after we met, when she did a photo shoot of me as a birthday present from my best friend (who incidentally was also my Maid of Honour). I loved her photos then and still love them now.
After getting engaged, picking a venue and colour scheme, bridesmaids, best man, cars, flowers and all the other essentials, it came time to pick a photographer. We wanted someone who coul
d do our beautiful day justice, someone who could capture all the details that, while small in comparison to the rest of the day, were painstakingly chosen/cre
ated by us with love and care.
I had looked at Jen’s packages originally, but she offered too much for what we wanted and I was worried she might think our wedding was too small for her! (Silly, I know, but that’s me!). So I looked around, but nobody else’s pictures struck the right chord the way Jen’s did – so I took a gamble and sent her a message, asking if she could do a bespoke package that suited our needs. To my great relief, she said she could and that she was free on the day of our wedding. Joy!! 😀
A couple of days before, Andy, myself and Jen took a walk round the venue to come up with some good ideas for photos. She was really happy that we were willing to throw ourselves around a bit to get the shots we wanted! Well, this was a very special day!!
On the day, she was very professional while being able to have a laugh with us and we made great use of our fabulous venue. Everyone who met Jen commented on how nice she was and how she wasn’t an assuming figure, in fact they hardly noticed she was busy capturing all their silly faces! Haha!
We received the disc three weeks after the wedding and WOW! We couldn’t be happier with the result (in fact, one of our friends commented that she’d never seen wedding photos like them) and everyone has told us how beautiful they are. She really did capture the mood of the day in all its glory and she even managed to make my husband look good!! ;-). We will treasure them for years to come as a reminder of the best day we’ve ever had.
